The Books

Our Portfolio is small but each product is well-done. Each book is a labour of love. Each word is painstakingly birthed and thoughtfully gathered together to create stories that engage, enthrall and satisfy.

The Savanoy Series

Across from Lapeyrouse, Santimanitay, Side By Side We Stand A tale of everything we know. A Caribbean story of us, our woes, triumphs and all the bacchanal you can shake a bowlie at. The Savanoys are a well-respected Trinidadian family – well, for the most part and most of the time … most of them. Carlton is the Commissioner of Police, handsome and tortured. Gloria is the landed gentry with talent oozing out of her pores (along with the 1919). Remy makes mas and dreams of becoming so much more. Jeneva, traffic-stoppingly gorgeous, intelligent and quick-tempered Jeneva with her deep thoughts and adventurous nature. Helene, the non-Trini, the quiet, observant “outside woman” with too many secrets to hold.

Tales from Icebox Land

… was our first title ever released. Written by Queen Macoomeh, it is done entirely in the Nation language of Trinidad and Tobago. Published in 2007, Tales from Icebox Land is a hilarious compilation of short stories. It is in the “picong style” of satirical social commentary. The book is sold out in print but available for Kindle on Amazon.
